Partnering for the Wisconsin Hero Outdoors Charity Ride

6th Annual Wisconsin Hero Outdoors Charity Ride

At Veterans America, our daily mission is to help active duty service members, veterans, and their spouses “Own The Land You Defend®” through accessible and fair VA home loans. But our commitment to those who serve extends far beyond mortgages. It’s about being an active part of the community that supports, honors, and uplifts our heroes. That's why we were incredibly proud to join Wisconsin Hero Outdoors (WHO) and Wisconsin Harley-Davidson as a sponsor of the “6th Annual Charity Who Ride” on June 21st, 2025.

This event resonated deeply with the very heart of Veterans America. We exist because our founder, James Mercado, saw the need to protect veterans from exploitation and ensure they receive the full benefits they’ve earned. We are passionate about empowering our heroes, and supporting organizations that directly address their challenges is paramount.

The core mission of Wisconsin Hero Outdoors, the beneficiary of this ride, is profoundly important: "Wisconsin Hero Outdoors (WHO) works with Veterans and First responders to aide in suicide prevention by utilizing the camaraderie of outdoor activities to address the physical and mental health challenges brought on by the stresses of service."

Knowing that every mile ridden and every dollar raised directly contributes to preventing suicide among our veterans and first responders makes our sponsorship even more meaningful. The "6th Annual Charity Who Ride" was a powerful demonstration of unity and gratitude. It brought together riders, supporters, veterans, and first responders in a shared journey of camaraderie and purpose. Witnessing the collective energy and commitment to this vital cause was truly inspiring.

Our team at Veterans America understands the unique challenges faced by our service members. We've seen firsthand the life-changing impact of securing a home for a veteran who thought it was out of reach. Similarly, we recognize the immense value of programs that foster mental well-being and a sense of belonging. The ride was a testament to the power of community in providing that crucial support system.

We are honored to partner with Wisconsin Hero Outdoors and Wisconsin Harley-Davidson in this vital endeavor. Events like these reinforce our belief that true service involves not just providing financial solutions, but also actively participating in the ecosystem of support that our heroes deserve.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the ride, volunteered, or contributed to the success of the "6th Annual Charity Who Ride." Your support directly impacts the lives of veterans and first responders, helping them navigate the stresses of service and find healing through connection and outdoor activities. Let’s continue to stand together for those who protect our freedom and keep our communities safe.
